The Annual Hempfield Township Clean Up Day for 2020 has been postponed indefinitely. When it is determined by public health officials that it is ok to resume, the event is for Hempfield Township Residents only and is the first Saturday in May each year at the Hempfield Township Building from 6:30 A.M. until noon. Remember that the recycle bins for paper and cardboard are located at the Township Building and are open to non-residents as well. If the bins are full, DO NOT leave your items on the ground. This is considered dumping, and is illegal. Bins are emptied onTuesdays and Fridays except for holiday weeks.
WHERE: Hempfield Township Building – parking lot
Supervisors and Maintenance Crew will be on hand to help with the disposal. Dumpsters will be monitored.
We will accept:
Refrigerators or air conditioners, Automobile batteries, New or used medical equipment which can be donated to the Medical Equipment Recycling Program.
*Loose paper, magazines, catalogs, books, phone books can be placed in recycle bins.
We will not accept:
Grass clippings, household garbage, tree limbs No liquids (paint, oil, thinners, etc.) Tires
